Tamil Nadu’s Education Department has introduced virtual learning hubs in 1,000 government schools across rural areas. Equipped with smartboards, reliable internet, and subscriptions to counselling and STEM platforms, these hubs are designed to democratize quality education. Teachers are trained in digital pedagogy, and students now access coding sessions, interactive quizzes, and live expert lectures. Early results show a 25% improvement in science and mathematics performance. The state aims to expand this model to 3,000 schools next academic year, helping bridge the rural–urban educational divide.
